Is agriculture still the largest contributor to Uganda’s economy?

Yes, agriculture remains a major contributor, employing over 70% of Ugandans and driving exports like coffee, fish, tea, and maize.
However, other sectors like services, industry, telecoms, and construction are growing fast and reducing agriculture’s percentage share of GDP.
