Why does the Uganda shilling weaken during certain seasons?

The shilling usually weakens due to:
- High import demand during holidays or planting seasons
- Reduced inflows from tourism during low seasons
- Government or private sector buying dollars for big projects
- Speculation during political or economic uncertainty
- Agricultural export seasons—when crops are not being sold, dollar inflow slows
When more dollars leave the country than enter, the shilling loses value.
