How has digitalization (e-government) improved or complicated public services?

Digitalization has improved access, transparency, and speed for many services such as URA e-tax, URSB online registration, NIRA pre-registration, and Immigration e-visa systems. People can now apply, pay, and track services online without visiting offices.
However, challenges remain. These include system downtime, limited digital literacy, internet access issues, and cases where online systems still require physical follow-ups. For rural users, digitalization can sometimes increase barriers instead of reducing them.
